This is a great Civil War era Adams Revolver that is factory engraved and inscribed on its top strap; "Major Rawlings from Robert Adams" followed by the Adams address. This inscription is 100% original and extremely rare, however I can make no claims as to any association to any Confederate Officer or Soldier with whom these guns were so popular, as I have not had time to have the name researched. Boldly marked on the riccasso, this fine Courtney & Tennent Naval Cutlass has an excellent blade reatining most of its original polish.
