This is a great Civil War era Adams Revolver that is factory engraved and inscribed on its top strap; "Major Rawlings from Robert Adams" followed by the Adams address. This inscription is 100% original and extremely rare, however I can make no claims as to any association to any Confederate Officer or Soldier with whom these guns were so popular, as I have not had time to have the name researched. This wonderful Boyle & Gamble Staff & Field Officers Sword popped out of an old barn in Youngstown, Ohio a few years ago. This is an iron-strapped, US marked frame '51 Navy in the 90XXX range. There are no sub-inspection marks or USN stampings on the butt and it doesn't appear that there ever were. CLICK HERE FOR ADDITIONAL PHOTOS AND INFORMATION

Boldly marked on the riccasso, this fine Courtney & Tennent Naval Cutlass has an excellent blade reatining most of its original polish. This example is one of the finest known Froelich Confederate Officer's Swords to exist, retaining 95%+ original red paint on the scabbard and "zero" dents with some spots of corrossion and age showing.
