Every once in a while a really great antique gun comes out of the woodwork and I can't decide whether to keep it, or sell it. These types of guns are hard to describe, but you sure know one when you see one and these are the guns that I continue to describe as the best of all. They not only look and feel like a true antique that speaks of prior adventure, they look as if you could take hold of them and begin a new one. This is such a gun, so untouched that it makes you very happy to have found such a wonderful, historic hobby. Deep rich brown patina with flashes of original blue and case colors scattered about the metal surfaces. Full, visible etched panel that is usually gone on these earlier guns in the 50,XXX range and grips that would be appropriate on a $30,000 gun. It is just attic-mint with all surfaces smooth and nearly blemish free. If it sells, it sells. If it doesn't, I'll be quite pleased to keep it.
