Leyendecker of Laredo, Texas who carried it in both the Mexican War and Civil War as a Confederate Officer. It comes with 1. An original sales receipt and authenticity information from noted dealer Frank Sellers from 1982., 2. A certificate of participation in the 2003 "Parade of Walkers" sponsored by The Texas Gun Collectors Association. This event was the largest gathering of original Colt Walkers ever held with millions of dollars worth of these rare revolvers all on display under one roof, with this documented being signed by noted Walker authorities, Michael Simens, Bobby Vance, Paul Sorrell and Bobby Smith, 3. A letter of authenticity from noted Colt author R.L. Wilson, and 4. An additional letter of authenticity from well-known Colt Dealer, Collector and Colt Walker Authority, yours truly, Michael Simens. 5.
