COLT, 1860 MARTIALLY MARKED REVOLVER WITH HISTORICAL ARCHIVE - Lot #0602

This is a wonderfull grouping directly from a descendant of Major Camburn and a notarized letter from her accompanies this group. It consists of Camburns' government issue Colt Army Revolver, holster, nipple wrench, government inspected bullet mold, a great pack of .44cal cartridges & caps dated 1864 from the Watervliet arsenal, a wonderfull cabinet card of Camburn from a Cedar Rapids photographer with ID and bio on verso, his wallet and no, not one of Mick Jagger's private concert bags but Camburns surgical medicine pouch. Camburn had service in the 16th Iowa Infantry and then in the 6th Cavalry serving in the Dakota Territory fighting Indians from 10/62 until the wars end. He has some great history.
