This is one of the better Spencer Carbines that you'll find anywhere today. It is super sharp and crisp to include all of its edges, action and markings. There is actually a good amount (maybe 15%) of original blue scattered across the barrel of this gun covered with a micro-frosting of very thin cleanable brown peach-fuzz, especially in protected areas (around the sights, edges, etc,). It shows a trace of vivid case-colr on the frame the the balance silvering out with a similar thin patina coating. the breach-block shows a ton of case. The wood is very fine with visable cartouche and some scattered scarring to the butt that could probably be addressed. this is a really great Spencer.
