FROELICH CONFEDERATE STAFF SWORD
This example is one of the finest known Froelich Confederate Officer's Swords to exist, retaining 95%+ original red paint on the scabbard and "zero" dents with some spots of corrossion and age showing. CONFEDERATE NAVAL SWORD, COURTNEY & TENNANT
Simply spectacular condition, one of the best known examples of this type and certainly in the top 5% in terms of condition for ANY Confederate Sword, this beautifull dolphin-head is considered by many to be the most aesthetically pleasing of any Naval Sword ever created. The combination of WHITE sharkskin grip, large naval motif guard and distinctive dolphin-head pommel are striking, as are the coiled-snake mounts and drag.
