This is a Lefaucheux type, Pin-fire Revolver that appears to be in very good condition showing some simple engraving and a fine pair of checkered, hard rubber grips. This gun is frozen solid. You can't pull the trigger, pull the hammer back, remove a screw or do about anything else other than look at it. I'm not going to force the issue by buggering up a screw head. This gun needs some patience. If you don't mind soaking this for a while and have good tools, I'm sure it can experience a re-birth. It is in crusty patina, but doesn't appear to have any pitting. Could be a bargain for someone as these were imported by North and South during the Civil War.
