MEXICAN WAR OFFICER'S STIRRUPS - Lot #4805

This is an exquisite pair of Pre-Civil War Officer's stirrups that are inscribed on each bottom, "Wm. S. Dezing". Dezing was an officer in the New York Militia in the late 1830's - 1840's. They exhibit a wonderful eagle motif on each side of each stirrup. They are as rare as can be.
